Open access is a great opportunity for experienced printmakers and those who have attended courses or 1-2-1 tuition at The Yard Print Studio to book the use of the studio for projects or their own practice development. The studio is a supportive environment and can accommodate up to two people at a time to allow full access to equipment for practitioners who book slots.

Open access sessions:

MONDAYS & TUESDAYS

9.30am - 2.30pm (term time only)

Please note: January - March 2025 Mondays will not be available for open access due to Beginners Printmaking happening on Mondays for 10 weeks. During this time extra sessions on Wednesdays will be available.

Term starts: 13th January 2025

£15 per session, including basic studio materials.

All sessions have a studio technician present to support things like set up, adjusting presses, locating things etc.

Paper and inks are available to purchase. Up to two people can book per session.

Note: open access sessions are for independent working. If you require 1-2-1 support beyond basic set up please get in touch to organise extra support.

Cost for full technical support is £25 ph.

To use open access you will need an induction. These can be arranged as 1-2-1 or group sessions. Basic induction cost: £25

There is currently no online booking system for open access.
